Lyrics
Howzit everyone? John Landt here. Thank you for joining me today. Welcome to VoiceCry episode 8. I like to share what God shares with me with you… Here we go.
I’ll be reading from The Codex Sinaiticus, its based on one of the oldest Bible manuscripts in the world. The main verses that I will be reading are… Matthew 11:5, Luke 7:22, John 16:21, and I will read Isaiah 26:17-19 from another bible translation.
So Matthew 11:2-4 – John asks Jesus if you are the one we are looking for? He’s asks this because others say you’re a drunk and you’re a friend with sinners.
In Matthew 11:5 Jesus says, the blind receive sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached to them; 6 and blessed is he whoever shall not be offended at me.
* Jesus is the one for Deliverance.
Luke 7:22 – Is also looking for the person for Delivery
22 And he answered and said to them: Go tell John what things you have seen and heard, that the blind receive sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them; 23 and blessed is he whoever is not offended at me.
*So… Are you the one we are looking for? See and Hear what’s being done!!! Verse 23 says, if your offended blessed is he whoever is not offended to sin more because of me.
Now I’ll read Isaiah 26:17-19 – We are Pregnant and ready to deliver but nothing happens only painful pain. It’s God who is the one of deliverance.
26:17 As when a pregnant woman gets ready to deliver
and strains and cries out because of her labor pains,
so were we because of you, O Lord.
26:18 We were pregnant, we strained,
we gave birth, as it were, to wind.
We cannot produce deliverance on the earth;
people to populate the world are not born.
26:19 Your dead will come back to life;
your corpses will rise up.
Wake up and shout joyfully, you who live in the ground!
For you will grow like plants drenched with the morning dew,
and the earth will bring forth its dead spirits.
John 16:20-22 is a voice from Isaiah 26:17-19 – A New Birth | LIFE
20 Verily, verily, I say to you, that you shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: you shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall become joy.
21 The wife, when she is in labor, has sorrow, because her hour has come; but when she has brought forth the child, she no longer remembers the affliction for joy that a man has been born into the world.
22 And you therefore now indeed have sorrow; but I shall see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one takes from you.
* There will be birth pains for a moment and then joy of delivery. It’s Life >to> Death >to> Life.
Thought
Others say Jesus is a drunk and a friend of sinners. And yet, through Jesus’ deeds proves he is the deliverance of the one to come – the blind see, the lame walk, skin diseases are cleansed, dead people are brought back to life, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
a). So It’s Literal deliverance
- Keep in mind we’re in pain & give birth to nothing. There is nothing you and I can do to deliver ourselves. It’s God who gives the birth and brings back the dead to life. It’s like being drenched with the morning dew… FULLY ALIVE!!!
- So God’s People Rise from the Dead [John chapter 16 – spirit of what is to come]
In John chapter 3: verses 5 to 8 says, Jesus answered: Verily, verily, I say to thee, Unless a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of the heavens.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Wonder not that I said to thee: You must be born again.
8 The wind blows where it pleases, and the sound of it thou hearest, but thou knowest not whence it comes and whither it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
There’re those who say they see, but never seen and they say I hear but never hear. To see and hear is given to the poor (who have the birth pains) and suddenly have a Spiritual Birth – the blind see, the lame walk, skin diseases are cleansed, dead people are brought back to life – You see, You walk, Your made clean, You have life. You are raised from the dead. And this is within YOU!
b). It’s a Spiritual Birth
So I don’t know about you… the one who raises from the dead is the one your searching for.
Thank you so much for joining me today. If you like to tell us what God shares with you that you would like to share with others… I love to hear about. It’s really simple. All you have to do is go to www.GodTalk.me and send me a message.
