Voice Cry Media Resources
I always appreciate others who provide helpful resources for me to use. I thought it could be useful to provide you a resources page to help you build your own digital outreach platform.
I also earn a commission for any purchase you decide to make that will help you to achieve your goals. I’ll be updating and improving the online Tool Kit resources and trying my best to stay in step with technology.
I hope these resources, and everything else I have available to you on this website will help you.

I only recommend the products and services that I use.
Cheap Domain Name Registration
If you do not have a domain name you’ll need one. So the first place to start is you want to find your Domain Name (www.yourname.com). Simply search for the name you want and purchase it. Go to NameCheap.
Quality-Crafted Hosting Services
All of my websites are hosted by SiteGround. SiteGround gives me fabulous customer service & support with everything I need to help me to be successful in all of my web hosting solutions. If there is anything I need they are there for me and ready to help out. Go to SiteGround.
Premium WordPress Themes
What I love about StudioPress is it’s AWESOME right out of the box. I don’t need to do any minor or major customizations. All I have to do is install & build my content. As a StudioPress member, I also get access to the support team and all of the tutorials. Go to StudioPress Themes
ATR2100-USB Cardioid Dynamic USB/XLR Microphone
I’ve researched so many different microphones that I can use for podcasting. I believe ATR2100 is the BEST starter microphone. It’s cost-effective, easy to transport, and I am able to use the microphone as a USB and or XLR for digital recording. It’s a great dynamic mic that gives me high-quality sound on my VoiceCry podcast. Go to ATR2100 Microphone
Shure A81WS Foam Windscreen
I use a windscreen to help me reduce any unwanted breath and wind noise without affecting my sound quality. The windscreen reduces the pops and ticks caused by talking way to close to the microphone. What I love about the Shure A81WS Foam Windscreen is that it’s simple to install onto my SM57 microphone. Go to Shure Foam Windscreen
Zoom H5 Audio Recorder
The first couple of my VoiceCry podcasts were recorded directly into my MacBook Pro laptop. It’s great as long as the recording is no longer than 3 minutes in length. Any recording that I recorded that is longer than 3 minutes in length would increase the laptop temperature to run hot. That’s not good for computers. I also think laptops are a little bit bulky… meaning the design is generally not for portable recording on-the-go. And since I am planning to do interviews on the street, it’s a no-brainer, I purchased the Zoom H5. Go to Zoom H5 Audio Recorder
The marketplace for creative & professional services
I’m a HUGH fiverr fan. I completed a couple of projects through the talents of the fiverr community. In the beginning of a VoiceCry podcast listen to the 20 second music jingle (intro). That’s taken from a 2:58 minute completed music. Since I cannot create music… I asked (hired) Avi_Uri on fiverr to create a brilliant intro from a brand new track. I am also able to own the copy rights. Go to Fiverr.
Turn your brightest ideas into your best work
I personally own a Creative Suite 6 Master Collection license. I do not receive a commission if you choose to buy your own license. But I want to tell you about it because it’s that good. The main programs I use on VoiceCry are Adobe Audition for audio recording and editing & Adobe Photoshop for graphics. If you don’t have $2,600 laying around in a shoe box you can purchase Adobe Audition for $349 and Adobe Photoshop for $699. Another option is pay a monthly recurring fee for the Adobe Creative Cloud service.

Libsyn provides everything your podcast needs: publishing tools, media hosting, and delivery, RSS for iTunes, a Web Site, Stats, Advertising Programs, Premium Content, Apps for Apple, Android & Windows devices. Go to Libsyn
Transcription, Translation, Editing, Proofreading
It’s SUPER EASY to have my podcasts transcribed into a word document. I record a podcast, upload a copy of my mp3 file to the REV transcription service, and the transcription is completed in less than 12 hours. The service is always reliable and search engines are now able to find words from my podcast instead of only the titles to the mp3 files & players. Why? Words from my podcast help people find all of my podcasts in the search engine result pages and now you have an option to read it too. Go to REV
